Anne Curtis Smith has received numerous honors in her career, including the two FAMAS Awards she won in 2008 and 2009, as well as the Luna Award. In addition to this, Anne Curtis Smith was also nominated for five PMPC Star Awards. Her nominations included two Gawad Urian Award. Curtis was a part of a variety of TV programs, like Hiram kampanerang kuba (2005) Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa, 2008 Green Rose 2011 and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw 2013. She played the cult Komiks characters Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Other roles she has held include hosting the midday variety show It's Showtime from 2009-2020. Anne Curtis was born in Melbourne in Australia on 17th of February 1985. She is a Filipina and Australian actress. There were many awards she received throughout her time in the industry, including the two FAMAS Awards, a Luna Award, two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards as well as five PMPC Star Awards in the television category. Additionally, she has been being nominated to win 2 Gawad Urian Awards & Eight PMPC Star Awards For Movies. Curtis has appeared in a variety of television series, such as Hiram, Maging Sino Dyosa and Green Rose. She portrayed in 2014 the well-known Komiks character Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. In addition, she was a host on the afternoon variety show, It's Showtime (2009-2020). Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina originally from Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith, who was an Australian lawyer. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga located in Victoria, Australia. Her father married Ojales who was a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan, in 1982. Her older brother Jasmine was also an actress. Clare passed away from a heart condition in 2007 when she was barely four months old.
